• Develop research related to energy and resource conservation in coordination with specialized science projects:

Integrate professionals in the fields of energy development, energy conservation and carbon reduction, reuse of waste resources, and development of green materials to jointly launch project applications, with the goal of developing research and cooperation related to energy and resource conservation, mainly through the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Local Industry Value-Added Academic Science Project, the National Science Council's Energy National Science and Technology Project, Yilan's Local Industry Cooperation Project, and the county government's energy conservation and carbon reduction-related projects.

• Increase the opportunities for cooperation between industry and academia:

By linking the development of the energy and resourcefulness-related industries in the Yilan area and providing related technical consultation services, students are encouraged to participate in industrial activities or technical research, with the aim of cultivating professionals in energy and resourcefulness and enhancing the development opportunities of energy and resourcefulness in the Yilan area as a whole.

• Provide a colorful and inspiring learning environment for students and the general public:

Energy and Resourcefulness Technology Development Center has set up a display center and a website to display relevant energy and resourcefulness knowledge, and announce related activities, publish results and educational training information on the website, so that students and the general public can better understand the meaning of energy and resourcefulness, and move toward the popularization of knowledge related to life.

• Increase academic exchange opportunities with other universities or internationally:

Conduct seminars or popular science lectures for multiple academic exchanges, in order to provide opportunities for cultivating talents in energy and resourcefulness science and technology, and to expand the international perspective.
